TRIPTYCH INFORMATION - For People living with PPA

This project is about sharing experiences of PPA without using a lot of words.

Many people with PPA say that art and pictures can help them express themselves when talking is hard.

Art can feel calming and meaningful.

People living with PPA worked together with artist William Lindley and researcher Dr Chris Hardy.

They took part in creative workshops hosted by a charity called Dysover.

They shared their thoughts and feelings.

Together, they made an artwork called Triptych.

The title means two things:
– the three main types of PPA
– and the three groups who made the artwork together: people with PPA, researchers, and artists.
Triptych is an audiovisual artwork – with images and sound.

The artwork shows different experiences of PPA.

It shows how creativity can help people connect, express themselves, and feel some relief.

The artwork is still growing.

More people with PPA will add their voices and ideas over time.

If you have PPA, help is available. Please visit the Rare Dementia Support website here:
